Other news:
Still working on that solo show. I have about a month till I have to ship everything east. It's at Grumpy Bert. The opening is Saturday, April 25th.

I'll be having stuff at the Brooklyn Zine Fest on Sunday. It'll be my first zine fair outside of California. If you can't make it to the opening, you should make it to the zine fair. Also the zine fest is going on Saturday, as well. With like, totally different folks behind the tables.

Uh, I'm in a group show in Honolulu in May. I don't remember where, or the specific date. But I do know it's in May and I have 5 feet of space to cover. Pretty good update, huh?

Here's some info on stuff I'm up to:

1. Art Shows
a) I'm in a group show at Seeing Things Gallery in San Jose, CA. Show runs till March 6.
b) I'm painting for a solo show in Brooklyn at Grumpy Bert for April 25th. Also will be in a group show with them in May.
c) October I will be having a solo show at Foe in Northampton, MA.

2. Stuff I made:
I've been screen printing new things, You should check over in my store if you haven't in a while. I'm trying to just work on stuff that's not painting. Here's my newest print:

Also "Fuck You" Bat Totes. Printing shirts for ladies soon because it's been asked for by a lot of folks.

3. Other things
a) I did an illustration job for Chipotle. You can see it here, or you can go and buy a burrito.
b) Book recommendations: Megahex by Simon Hanselmann, The Incal by Alejandro Jodorowsky and illustrated by Moebius, and the Philosophy of Neo-Noir edited by Mark Conrad.
c) New Podcast Recommendations: The World This Week, Filmspotting, and Only a Game. Filmspotting comes out once a week and is like 1.5 hours long but good if you like listening to people talk about films. Only a Game is also once a week and is like half an hour long. They talk about what's going in US sports but they're not over the top, use crazy sound bites, or say obnoxious things to get attention. The World this week is just some news reports from around the world condensed into one half hour podcast.

I did the poster for the East Bay Zine Fest this year. It's Saturday, December 6th at Berkeley City College, and I'll have a bunch of new stuff. Hopefully a new zine as well, but it's the holidays and I have to fill out all my orders by myself. Here's the Facebook invite.

I keep forgetting to update my news section because I don't know if anyone actually visits artist websites anymore. But I haven't checked my site's analytics. Back in the day i used to average about 200-300 unique visits per day, and the last time I checked it was like 80. It probably can be less now.

I've been screen printing a lot of prints lately, and have been making more products. It's really nice to live a block away from a screen printing studio. And yeah, that's pretty much it.

I'm in a drawing show at Flatcolor Gallery in Seattle. It's being put together by Ryan Bubnis. The show opens November 6th, and runs till the 29th. I'll have one, 11"x14" drawing in it.

I haven't been painting much lately, and probably won't be for the rest of the year. I've been making a lot of drawings and I'm planning on having new one-color silkscreens printed and doing new t-shirts or totes. If you want to keep up with new stuff you should probably be following me on Instagram because I try updating often with new drawings and projects.

I got around to adding new images to my account at Nuvango. If your jam is have art on your cellphone case, and you'd like my art on it, then that would be the place to go.

I'm in Ft. Bragg, California right now staying with my friend who also does my silkscreening. We printed a new image I drew out a few days ago. You can buy a print of it here.

The show I'm in with APAK at Giant Robot is up in LA till September 10th. If you don't nearby you can buy work from it here.

Working a table this weekend at SF Zine Fest! You should come by if you can. It's 2 days and in the County Building in Golden Gate Park, Aug 30th-31st. Will have zines, prints and t-shirts available.

I'm going to be in a pretty rad show in Los Angeles with Apak at Giant Robot. The opening reception is later this week, Saturday, August 23rd. Will have about 50 or so paintings for it. You should come if you're in LA.

I'm going to share a table with a my friend Jacob at the San Francisco Zine Fest later this month. It's August 30-31.

I'm going away for a short while so other than selling drawings I can't really keep up with maintaining selling things online for the moment. But I have stuff on Nuvango if you're into getting art put on your mobile devices.

I'm in a one night group show in San Francisco. It's put on by The Last Cat and it's at 111 Minna Gallery, downtown on Friday. More info here.

On Friday The People's Printshop is going to release a print of the SF Map I did in 2009. You can learn more about the map here. It's an edition of 100 and they're selling for $50. The print looks really nice in person, and the detail is amazing.

I'm in a group show that's opening this Friday at the Oakland Museum of California. The show runs till July 27th. More info here.

Thursday April 10 I'll be having a solo show a the Leeds College of Art. I will be making a trip out there, so if you live in or around Leeds you should try and stop by. It's free to get in and open to the public, and last till the 9th of May. The opening is from 5-7 PM

The following Saturday, April 19, I'll be in a group show at the Oakland Museum of California. Will be exhibiting about 200 paintings. Here's a link to the Facebook invite.
